Genesis 31225012 16/4 Stranded Unshielded Cable, Plenum, CMP, FT6, 500' (152.4 m) Reel, Natural

The Genesis 31225012 is a 16 AWG, 4-conductor stranded, unshielded plenum cable (CMP, FT6) supplied on a 500' (152.4 m) reel in natural. It suits control, security and low-voltage runs inside buildings, including air-handling spaces where plenum-rated cable is required. Bare copper conductors and countdown length markings make it practical for installers pulling long runs.

Key features

• Bare copper conductors give good conductivity and low voltage drop.
• Low-smoke PVC insulation is used on the conductors.
• A rip cord lets you strip and remove the jacket quickly.
• Countdown length markings show how much cable you have used and how much is left on the reel.
• The cable is rated for 300 volts and for temperatures from -20 °C to 75 °C.
• It is REACH and RoHS compliant.

Installation notes

This is an indoor cable, so do not use it outdoors. Use the length markings to plan your pulls and cut lengths, and keep it away from line-voltage wiring where codes require separation. Since the cable is unshielded, route it clear of noisy electrical sources.
