The Genesis 31231012 is a 14 AWG, 2-conductor stranded unshielded control cable, supplied on a 1000' (304.8 m) reel in natural. It is plenum-rated (CL3P, FT6) and built for indoor low-voltage runs, which makes it a fit for installers and contractors pulling control or security wiring through air-handling spaces. Bare copper conductors, a rip cord for stripping the jacket and countdown length markings are the details that stand out.

Key features

• Bare copper conductors give good conductivity and low voltage drop.
• Low-smoke PVC insulation is used on the conductors.
• A built-in rip cord makes it quicker to strip and remove the jacket.
• Countdown length markings let you track how much cable you have used and how much is left.
• It is rated for 300 volts and for temperatures from -20 °C to 75 °C.
• The cable is REACH/RoHS compliant.
