Genesis 31145512 18/2 Stranded Unshielded Cable, Plenum, CMP, FT6, 500' (152.4 m) Pull Box, Natural

The Genesis 31145512 is an 18 AWG, 2-conductor stranded unshielded cable with a plenum (CMP, FT6) jacket, supplied in a 500' (152.4 m) pull box in natural. It's a security and control cable for indoor runs, suited to installers who need plenum-rated wire for air-handling spaces. Bare copper conductors and countdown length markings make it practical for both pulling and tracking a run.

Key features

• Bare copper conductors give good conductivity and low voltage drop.
• Low-smoke PVC insulation is used on the conductors.
• A rip cord lets you strip and remove the jacket efficiently.
• Countdown length markings show how much cable you've used and how much is left.
• Rated for 300 volts and for temperatures from -20 °C to 75 °C.
• Complies with REACH and RoHS.

Installation notes

Keep the pull radius gentle and avoid kinking the cable as you feed it from the pull box. Use the length markings to cut runs to size, and confirm the cable rating suits the space before pulling it through plenums or air-handling areas.
