Genesis 50901008 24/4-Pair Cat 5e Unshielded (U/UTP) Water-Blocked Networking Cable, Direct Burial, 1000' (304.8 m) Reel, Black

The Genesis 50901008 is a 1000' (304.8 m) reel of black Cat 5e unshielded (U/UTP) networking cable, built with 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors in 4 pairs. It is water-blocked and rated for direct burial, so it suits installers running Ethernet outdoors, such as between buildings or out to remote devices. Countdown length markings make it easy to see how much cable has been used and how much is left on the reel.

Key features

• Water-blocked construction and direct burial rating make it suitable for outdoor runs underground.
• Bare copper conductors give good signal transmission and low voltage drop.
• Polyolefin insulation and a polypropylene jacket make up the cable construction.
• The jacket is sunlight resistant (UV) rated for outdoor exposure.
• Countdown length markings help you track usage and remaining cable.
• Rated for 300 volts and for temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C.
