Genesis 31211102 16/2 Stranded Unshielded Cable, Plenum, CMP, FT6, 1000' (304.8 m) Pull Box, Yellow

The Genesis 31211102 is a 16 AWG, 2-conductor stranded unshielded control cable in a 1000' (304.8 m) pull box, with a yellow plenum (CMP, FT6) jacket. It suits installers running low-voltage control and security wiring indoors, including in air-handling spaces. Bare copper conductors, a rip cord for jacket removal and countdown length markings make it easy to work with on longer pulls.

Key features

• Bare copper conductors give good conductivity and low voltage drop.
• Low-smoke PVC insulation is used on the conductors.
• A rip cord lets you strip and remove the jacket efficiently.
• Countdown length markings make it easy to track how much cable you have used and how much is left.
• It is rated for 300 volts and for temperatures from -20 °C to 75 °C.
• It is REACH/RoHS compliant.

Installation notes

This is an indoor cable, so keep it inside the building and out of outdoor or wet runs. Pull it from the box without kinking, use the rip cord to open the jacket cleanly, and check the length markings before cutting so you leave enough slack at each device.
