The GRI VS-06 is a wired, surface-mount magnetic contact vent switch with a 6″ linear travel and a 1/2″ standard air gap. It lets a window be vented without breaking the alarm loop, so the system doesn't have to be disarmed to open or close the window. It suits installers and DIYers who want to help prevent false alarms on protected windows.
