About the 8080RS-T-W

The GRI 8080RS-T-W is a white recessed magnetic contact switch set built for steel doors. It uses a 3/4″ stubby body with screw terminals, so you can wire it without splicing leads. It suits commercial door-monitoring installs, and it ships as a pack of 10 for larger jobs.

Installation notes

Drill the mounting holes cleanly and seat the switch and magnet square in the door and frame so they stay aligned across the gap. Tighten the terminal screws firmly, then test the loop with the door opened and closed before putting the zone into service.
