About the 4532DL-36

The GRI 4532DL-36 is a wired overhead door contact switch with a mounting bracket and a 36″ stainless steel armored lead. It reports the open or closed state of an overhead door to an alarm system, and it suits both DIY and professional installers. The cast aluminum case and hermetically sealed reed switch are built for harsh environments, and the case lets you swap in a new contact without redrilling.

Installation notes

Mount the switch on the floor where the door will pass over it, and set the magnet so the door sits within the standard gap when closed. Route the armored lead so it is protected from foot traffic and moving parts, and test the loop in both door positions before leaving the site.
