About the 199-12-B

The GRI 199-12-B is a recessed magnetic contact switch set for steel doors, built for commercial wired alarm and access installations. It is a 1″ diameter, brown, DPDT (Form C) set with 12″ leads and a 0.50″ standard gap, suited to installers who need a concealed contact on steel doors. The one-piece, self-locking design and UL approval make it a dependable fit for professional installs.

Installation notes

Drill the recess to match the 1″ diameter and seat the switch and magnet so they align across the gap on the steel door. Test the loop after wiring, with the door open and closed, before you close up the frame.
