About the 195-12WG

The GRI 195-12WG-BL is a wide-gap recessed magnetic contact for steel doors, finished in black. It monitors door position in a wired alarm system and suits installers and businesses that want a concealed, door-mounted sensor. It uses a DPDT contact and a 12″ lead, and it is made in the US by George Risk Industries.

Installation notes

Drill the recess in the steel door to suit the switch diameter, and seat the switch fully so it sits flush. Confirm the gap between the switch and magnet and test the loop with the door open and closed before finishing the wiring.
