About the N78CG/STDD

Professional-grade recessed door contact for demanding security applications. The N78C Series delivers reliable perimeter protection on steel and wood doors with a wide-gap rare earth magnet design that resists false alarms from door warping or shifting.

Snap-fit installation on steel surfaces requires no adhesive, significantly reducing setup time on job sites. Pre-attached 12" wire leads (22AWG) streamline rough-in work. Encapsulated hermetically sealed contacts ensure long-term reliability in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Polypropylene housings withstand UV exposure and temperature fluctuations.

UL634-listed for code compliance. DPDT switch configuration supports flexible monitoring logic and integration into hardwired alarm systems.
