About the 2-Way

The Sonos 6.5″ Architectural Passive 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers are a pair of passive in-ceiling speakers in white, made for built-in audio in homes and businesses. Sold as a pair, they suit installers and owners who want speakers set into the ceiling rather than mounted on a wall or stand.

Specifications

Brand: Sonos

Product type: In-Ceiling Speaker

Driver size: 6.5″

Design: Passive, 2-way

Installation notes

Because these are passive speakers, they need to be driven by a separate amplifier, so plan speaker cable runs from the amp location to each ceiling position. Check the ceiling cavity for joists, ductwork and insulation before cutting, and test both speakers for correct polarity once connected.
