About the N505AU/STDD

N505AU FLIP SWITCH™ — the award-winning surface mount solution for man doors. The unique flip design allows cable mounting in either direction without sacrificing gap performance.

Features an N35 NdFeB rare earth magnet for maximum gap capability and universal mounting flexibility. NO DEAD SPOT™ technology in closed-loop versions eliminates false alarms from door misalignment.

Specifications include 36" 22AWG wire leads, 24" armored cable protection, extruded anodized aluminum construction (Type II), and UL634 listing. Fast installation with installer-selectable contact configuration.

Ideal for security applications requiring reliable operation across varying door conditions and mounting orientations.
