Installation notes

Choose a mounting surface or pole that can carry the camera's weight, and point it so the IR illuminator is not aimed at a nearby wall or soffit that could reflect light back into the lens. Because the lens is motorized, aim the camera first, then set zoom and focus from the web interface once it is powered and on the network, and seal the cable entry to protect the outdoor rating.
