About the M1XOVR

The ELK M1XOVR is a 16-output expander for M1 Gold and M1EZ8 controls, adding 8 voltage outputs and 8 relay outputs. It suits installers extending an M1 alarm system that need extra outputs to trigger low-current devices or switch loads. It connects over the panel's 4-wire data bus, so it doesn't need a separate control path.

Installation notes

Set a unique address on the DIP switches before powering the module, and keep the 12V DC supply and data bus wiring tidy. Check that each voltage output load stays within its current limit and that each relay load is within its contact rating.
