BRK BSMCO600NVBX1 Battery Smart Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm

The BRK BSMCO600NVBX1 is a battery-operated smart smoke and carbon monoxide alarm that detects both hazards in one white unit and sends alerts to a phone once setup is finished in the First Alert app. It suits homeowners and installers who want voice alerts, battery backup and proactive replacement reminders, and it is listed as a compatible replacement for Google's Nest Protect Alarm. Its precision smoke sensing meets the updated UL 217 9th Edition standard, and alarms interconnect so that all compatible units sound together.

Key features

• Combines smoke and carbon monoxide detection in a single battery-operated alarm.
• Sends mobile alerts when smoke or CO is detected, after setup with the First Alert app.
• Gives audible and in-app notices when the batteries or the alarm itself need replacing.
• Interconnects with compatible alarms so one alarm sounding triggers them all.
• Includes voice alerts and battery backup for occupants.
• Uses a single test/silence button to make testing quick.
