AWID LR-3000 25' UHF Long-Range Smart Card Reader

The AWID LR-3000 (model LR-3000-0-0) is a UHF long-range smart card reader that reads passive tags and cards from up to 25 feet away. It handles vehicle gate access and physical access for people, and suits installers and businesses that need hands-free reads at a distance. The antenna and electronics sit in one compact white enclosure, and the reader outputs Wiegand.

Key features

• Reads tags and cards at up to 25 feet between reader and credential.
• Antenna and electronics are built into a single unit, so there is no separate antenna to mount.
• Needs no reader programming, and wiring is simple.
• Programmable RF field strength helps prevent interference between readers and cross-reading between lanes.
• An optional buried loop can arm the RF circuit, so it transmits only when needed.
• Uses the same code format as proximity readers, so it can be mixed with them in one system.
