About the UF-SM-PATCH-APC-APC

The Ubiquiti UF-SM-PATCH-APC-APC UFiber patch cord is a 1.5m single-mode fiber jumper with an SC/APC connector on each end. It is meant for linking network devices when you build out a GPON network, and it suits installers and businesses working in the UISP fiber line. The thin 2.0 mm plenum-rated jacket is what sets it apart.

Installation notes

Match APC connectors to APC ports, since mixing them with other polish types can cause poor performance or damage the end faces. Clean the ferrules before mating and keep the bend radius gentle when routing the thin jacket.
