About the SB-C67

Designed to help drywall installers position ceiling or wall speaker openings accurately, SB-C67 rough-in brackets provide a guide for cutting the opening after drywall is installed. Fasten the perforated wings to each side of the stud opening with nails, screws, or staples, then insert a compatible speaker frame through the bracket.

Plastic and aluminum components provide a practical construction-stage guide. Each bracket includes two tabbed wings and an 8.375-inch internal opening for speakers requiring an 8.25-inch cutout, including many 6.5-inch models. Compatible with 6.5-inch in-ceiling speakers designed for an 8.25-inch cutout.
