About the GSM4230PX-TAANAS

Engineered for audio/video professionals, the AV Line M4250 switches combine networking expertise with AV-market best practices. Purpose-built for AV over IP installations targeting 1Gbps codecs, these switches feature PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++, and rear-facing ports for clean rack integration.

Preconfigured with standard audio and video profiles, the M4250 offers a dedicated AV web interface for customization. Audio profiles support Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, and AVB (license sold separately). Video profiles include NVX, SVSI, Q-SYS, NDI, and Dante, plus mixed audio/video/control options.

Advanced automation via NETGEAR IGMP Plus, Auto-Trunk, and Auto-LAG simplifies multi-switch deployments. Built on a common L2/L3 switching engine, these units deliver static and dynamic routing, DHCP, and PTPv2 support alongside full IT management via CLI, web GUI, SNMP, and sFlow.

Audio Video Bridging (AVB) services support low-latency content transport for live performance applications requiring critical lip-sync. Industry-standard mounting flexibility accommodates standard or recessed configurations with ports front or rear.
