About the LUT-MLC

The Lutron LUT-MLC is a minimum load capacitor designed to enable reliable operation of Lutron digital dimmers with low-load or non-inductive lighting applications. This accessory prevents flickering and extends dimmer compatibility to LED, CFL, and other light sources that draw minimal current. Simply connect the capacitor in parallel with the load to stabilize voltage and current delivery. Essential for applications where standard minimum load requirements cannot be met, the LUT-MLC ensures smooth dimming performance and protects dimmer circuits from damage caused by insufficient load conditions.
