Honeywell Home 5193SD V-Plex Addressable Smoke Detector

V-Plex Addressable Photoelectric Smoke Detector designed for open area protection with compatible control panels supporting V-Plex technology. Features an advanced optical sensing chamber and microprocessor with built-in Drift Compensation to maintain proper operation even as contaminates accumulate in the chamber.

Simplified installation with pre-wired mounting base and included hardware. Large mounting ports accommodate drywall anchors for easy surface mounting. Dual LEDs (green and red) indicate normal operation, alarm, low sensitivity, and trouble conditions. Test button allows periodic verification of detector circuitry and sensitivity limits.

Built-in tamper switch alerts the control panel if the detector is removed from its base. Tamper-resistant element requires tools for removal, preventing unauthorized tampering.
