Manhattan 560689 8-Port Fast Ethernet Switch, Desktop Size, Plastic, IEEE 802.3az, Energy Efficient Ethernet

The Manhattan 560689 is an 8-port Fast Ethernet switch in a desktop-size plastic case, built to add wired ports to a small office, workbench or home network. Its eight 10/100 auto-sensing ports work out the right speed for each connected device, so setup is straightforward. The fanless design makes it a good fit for quiet spaces, and Green Ethernet power saving helps cut energy use.

Key features

• Eight 10/100 auto-sensing ports detect the best speed for each device.
• Plug-and-play setup means you power it up and start using it.
• Green Ethernet technology deactivates ports that are not in use.
• Supports any mix of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps devices, plus jumbo frames up to 2 kBytes.
• 768 kBytes of buffer memory and store-and-forward switching.
• Fanless construction keeps operation silent.
