2" Vane Type Waterflow Alarm Switch with Retard, Wet Sprinkler Systems VSR2

The VSR-2 is a vane type waterflow switch designed for wet sprinkler systems. It detects water flow of 10 GPM (38 LPM) or more and triggers alarm contacts when flow is detected. The device features an adjustable, instantly recycling pneumatic retard with a field-replaceable time delay of 0–90 seconds, allowing you to prevent false alarms from brief flow disruptions.

Built for durability and reliability, the VSR-2 contains two single pole, double throw snap action switches enclosed in a weatherproof, die-cast housing. It is UL Listed for steel pipe schedules 5 through 40 (2"–6") and UL Listed and FM Approved for schedules 10 through 40 (2"–8"). The unit also qualifies for LPC approval on 2" through 8" pipe. Two tamper-resistant screws secure the cover, and an optional field-installable cover tamper switch is available to detect unauthorized removal.

Assembled in the USA, this waterflow detector is ideal for protecting wet sprinkler systems and can serve as a sectional waterflow detector on larger installations. Easy-to-read wire terminal designations and a simple retard adjustment knob make setup and maintenance straightforward.
