The Potter Electric Signal THERMOFLEX MP Series CF-135-MP is a fixed temperature heat detector designed for fire alarm systems where reliable heat-triggered detection is essential. This wired, addressable detector operates at a fixed temperature threshold of 135°F (57°C) and features factory-installed fly leads sealed in a corrosion-resistant mounting plate, making it ideal for moisture-laden or corrosive environments such as garages, carports, electrical rooms, and other challenging spaces.

The detector mounts directly to standard ceiling cast exterior back boxes and integrates seamlessly into fire alarm system input circuits as an initiating device. Its normally open internal contacts close when the releasing temperature is reached, triggering an alarm state secured by a fusible link mechanism. The non-metallic diaphragm allows reliable operation across a wide temperature range from −40°F to +250°F, ensuring functionality in both heated and unheated spaces.

With up to 70 feet of inter-detector spacing capability and addressable functionality, this heat detector can be paired with an addressing module for specific room or zone annunciation. It supports both 120V AC and 28V DC input voltages, providing flexible integration into existing fire alarm infrastructures.
