1" to 2" Vane Type Waterflow Alarm Switch with Adjustable Retard VSRS

The VSR-S is a vane type waterflow switch designed for wet sprinkler systems using 1", 1¼", 1½", or 2" pipe. It detects water flow of 10 gallons per minute or more and can function as a sectional waterflow detector on larger systems. The unit features two single pole double throw snap action switches housed in a die-cast general purpose enclosure, with an adjustable pneumatic retard mechanism that can be field-replaced.

The switch actuates only after the selected retard period is overcome, preventing false alarms from momentary flow fluctuations. The retard time delay is field-adjustable from 0 to 90 seconds with an easy-to-read adjustment knob. Compatible with CPVC, copper, brass, and iron pipe materials, the VSR-S comes with all necessary paddles for installation.

The weatherproof housing includes tamper-resistant screws requiring a special key for removal. Wire terminal designations are clearly marked for straightforward installation.
