About the DE8310S

The RCI DE8310S delayed-egress electromagnetic lock detects pressure on an outward-swinging door and provides a field-selectable 15- or 30-second release delay, with an adjustable 0–3-second nuisance delay. A built-in sounder and red/green status panel provide local alerts, while dry-contact relay outputs support remote monitoring.

Designed to work with existing door hardware, it is suited to loss-prevention, life-safety, and traffic-control applications. Features include a key switch for reset and override, a building-code sign for single outward-swinging doors, plug-in wiring harnesses, surge protection, and keyhole mounting with a stabilizing four-bolt drop stop. Finished in silver.
