About the DE83108

The RCI DE83108 delayed-egress magnetic lock detects pressure on an outward-swinging door and provides a field-selectable 15- or 30-second release delay, with a selectable 0- to 3-second nuisance delay. Designed as a perimeter-door solution, it can be installed without replacing existing door hardware.

A highly visible red/green panel indicates door status. Dry-contact SPDT and DPDT relays support local or remote monitoring, while the included keyswitch enables reset and override. Installation features include keyhole mounting, plug-in wiring harnesses, an accessible wiring cavity, a four-bolt stabilizing “drop stop” mount, and surge protection.

Includes the DE83108 magnetic lock, mounting bracket, keyswitch, building-code sign, and 914 external sounder. Designed for applications involving loss prevention, life safety, and traffic control.
