About the 8371

This compact electromagnetic lock provides up to 750 lbf of holding force for single outswinging doors. Its narrow 1-7/8" profile accommodates installations alongside most automatic door operators and stop-mounted hardware. The surface-mounted design features fail-safe operation, surge protection, and a mechanism that counters residual magnetism for reliable release. A brushed anodized aluminum finish complements the door hardware.
