About the 0162

This heavy-duty surface-mounted electric strike is designed for rim exit devices and installs without cutting the door frame. Its reinforced stainless steel housing fits hollow metal, aluminum, and wood frames, while a one-piece keeper promotes even load distribution. Horizontal adjustment of up to 1/4" helps align the latch, and an included mounting spacer improves latch engagement. The strike features fail-secure operation and a brushed stainless steel finish.
