Rate of Rise and Fixed Temperature Heat Detector Sensor, 135-185°F, Addressable PAD100-HD

The PAD100-HD is an addressable rate of rise and fixed temperature heat sensor designed for fire alarm systems. It combines reliable thermistor-based heat detection with flexible temperature settings, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications in commercial and institutional buildings. The sensor communicates via wired connection to any compatible fire alarm control panel using the PAD protocol, with polling speeds under five seconds to meet UL requirements.

This ceiling-mount detector features a low-profile white plastic housing that blends discreetly with standard ceilings. The selectable fixed temperature threshold ranges from 135° to 185° Fahrenheit, and the unit also supports rate of rise detection for early alarm response. DIP switch addressing allows field programming without special tools, and the sensor twists onto any PAD series base for quick installation and replacement.

The PAD100-HD operates at 24V DC and is rated for ambient temperatures between 32° and 150° Fahrenheit. It includes a 5-year limited warranty and is UL listed. Note: This is a legacy model; the latest equivalent is the PAD300-HD.
