The Paxton Net2 Plus IP Starter Kit is a networked door access control system designed for facilities requiring central control, event reporting, and flexible user access management. This complete 2-door solution combines the Net2 Plus control unit with proximity card readers and administrative software, enabling both independent operation and networked integration across your facility.

The kit includes two Net2 Plus control units housed in metal cabinets with 24V DC power supplies, dual P50 mullion proximity readers, USB enrollment reader, Net2 Pro software, 10 proximity ISO cards, and 10 proximity keyfobs. The system supports up to 50,000 users and communicates via standard Ethernet (RJ45) TCP/IP, with optional RS485 daisy-chaining for additional control units. Each control unit makes independent access decisions and stores events locally, ensuring operation even if the network connection is interrupted.

Identification uses contactless proximity cards or PIN/passcode entry. Installation is straightforward with color-coded connection labels and diagnostic LEDs.
