The PAD200-DUCT is an analog addressable duct smoke detector engineered to detect smoke in building HVAC ducting systems. It uses photoelectric sensing technology with dual air sampling tubes that protrude into the duct, meeting all NFPA regulations and local fire code requirements. The unit operates at listed air velocities from 100 to 4,000 ft/minute and includes a 7-inch exhaust tube; additional sampling tubes (2.5 ft., 5 ft., and 10 ft.) are available for custom duct sizing.

This detector is compatible with Potter addressable IPA and AFC/ARC series fire alarm control panels and features SLC Class A, Class X, and Class B wiring capability. The durable plastic enclosure with clear cover allows installation without removal of the detector head, using a provided template and sheet metal screws. No screens or filters are required in the housing, simplifying maintenance.
