The PAD300-DUCT is an analog addressable duct smoke detector designed to monitor air quality in building HVAC ductwork. Using photoelectric sensing technology, it detects smoke in air streams flowing between 100 and 4,000 feet per minute, meeting NFPA regulations and local fire safety codes. The detector integrates with addressable fire alarm panels and includes a complete installation kit with sampling tubes and mounting hardware.

This wired, 24V DC-powered detector features a durable plastic housing with a clear cover and integrated tamper switch for security. Installation is straightforward—the included template and sheet metal screws allow mounting without removing the detector head. The unit comes with a 7-inch exhaust tube and three sampling tube lengths (2.5, 5, and 10 feet) that can be cut to fit your duct dimensions.

Compatible with Potter Addressable IPA and AFC/ARC Series Panels, the PAD300-DUCT delivers status indicators and SLC Class A, Class X, and Class B wiring support. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty, this detector is suitable for commercial, industrial, residential, and building HVAC applications.
